Got to Get Me Some Gap Undies

Fashionistas tired of breaking the bank every time they hit up Victoria’s Secret should look no further than Gap. Gap underwear has been my favorite for years. Super comfy, cute and they last–basically, everything you need. There is no shortage of different styles; you’ll find them all–hipster-style girl shorts, bikinis, thongs and more. If I didn’t know that they were from Gap, some of these undies could definitely pass for Victoria Secret products. So if you are looking for sexy unmentionables, don’t rule out Gap!

Beating the Autumn Blues

This year, navy has been dubbed one of the hot makeup and nail polish colors for fall. I, for one, am also looking to navy for clothes and accessories. Pair dark shades of blue with neutrals such as white, cream and tan during the day. At night,  pile on gold and other metallics to bring the moody color to life.

Below are a few things in this hue that are currently inspiring me and bringing about all sorts of musings over fall outfits. Some are total steals, others are splurges (the Denim Cluster Earrings are gorgeous!) I’m enjoying navy so much right now that I think my next must-have item will be a navy leather motorcycle jacket, similar to the linen one I’ve included below.

Kourtney Kardashian

In case you’ve been out of the celeb gossip loop in the last couple of weeks, Kourtney Kardashian (the oldest of the three sisters) announced recently that she is expecting.

Pay attention, ladies. This is how you pull off “pregnant and fabulous.”A flowy mini-dress, a long necklace and a killer pair of platform Mary Jane style pumps was Kourtney’s choice for her appearance on The Wendy Williams Show. Flawless.

I am by no means a maternity wear expert, seeing as I don’t have kids. However, I think a light, airy dress consisting of several layers of fabric, like the one Kourtney has picked, is a great choice even if your baby bump is beginning to show. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing, as Kourtney has pointed out, and you should feel just as beautiful as you go through the journey. With that said, I do wonder how you could be comfortable on such high heels while pregnant–especially in the later stages–but hey, if you can do it then more power to you!

We’ve already talked about Kim’s style and now we’ve discussed Kourtney’s. Khloe fans, fear not. We’ll be featuring one of her looks soon.

'Stardust Cecillia' Studded Leather Satchel ($1,475, Marc Jacobs)

Historic moment: StealThisDress! is reviewing its first “splurge worthy” purse. We’ve chosen Marc Jacobs’ phenomenal ‘Stardust Cecillia’ Studded Leather Satchel as one of the “it bags” for this fall.

Sprinkled with delightful goldtone studs, the ‘Stardust Cecillia’ does not lack sparkle. MJ even finds a way to serve up the shoulder strap with a generous dose of fabulosity in the form of a 14 inch gold chain. These metallic elements are right on target for next season. And what better color to take you into fall than a delicious purple?

Just imagine how amazing this bag will look with a cute little pea coat and boots. Yum!

Fresh SugarLemon Body Lotion ($28, Sephora)

If you are a citrus fiend who loves scents such as Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, do I have the lotion for you!

I present to you Fresh Sugar Lemon Body Lotion, which has a delightfully refreshing smell that is both tangy and sweet. In addition to absorbing instantly without leaving any greasy after-feel, it also has this magical power of cooling off your skin. As a result, I always apply it when feeling parched after a trip to the beach or a day spent walking around in the sun.

I’ll definitely be using this product, which I call “summer in a bottle,” this winter to remind my senses of warmer times.
