The other day I was flipping through the clothing section of the latest Victoria’s Secret catalog and was admiring these adorable little floral-print tops. Later, I was really excited to see that Forever21 has something similar that preserves the very cute and girly look channeled by Victoria’s Secret. They look awesome with casual shorts and slacks and double as awesome cover-ups to throw over your bikini as you head to the beach or pool. Viva warm weather!
I’ve been a big fan of Softsoap’s body washes for quite a while. The brand is always coming up with fabulous new scents, each better than the last. My latest obsession is their Moisturizing Body Wash in Honeysuckle & Orange Peel scent.
The citrus-y scent of Honeysuckle & Orange Peel bodywash is absolutely perfect for summer, when you want something with a really crisp and refreshing smell.
In addition to the fantastic variety, what’s also great about Softsoap body washes is the price. $5-$6 for a healthy-sized bottle that always ends up lasting me for a while. I really hope Softsoap doesn’t discontinue this particular one!
When it comes to Jessica Biel, all we seem to hear lately is speculation about whether or not she and Justin Timberlake are over, still together, “complicated,” etc. In the midst of all this obsession with her personal life, I feel like her awesome style doesn’t get enough credit.
In a recent interview, JB said that while glam gowns and makeup are fun for the red carpet, her true, go-to style is casual and laid-back. And hey, more power to her, since she’s always comfortable and still manages to look like a million bucks.
The outfit in this photo is exactly that–comfy and fabulous. Denim shorts, which are quickly reclaiming the title of must-have summer staple, are great with simple basics like solid-colored tanks and sleeveless open cardigans. Together, the look is half structured and half what I call “loosey-goosey”–that’s StealThisDress speak for loose and flowy.
Knee-high suede boots in a muted color instantly take this casual look up a notch. If it’s already too hot for boots even at night time where you live, complete this look with a suede sandal. And to make it appropriate for nighttime, heeled sandals and a clutch are a great choice.
I haven’t seen the safari trend covered much by the fashion media yet this season but it’s definitely one of my favorites. To me, this trend is the cousin of the military theme that was so hot this spring.
Right now Charlotte Russe has some really great safari pieces; khaki and olive drab garments, bold beaded jewelry and animal prints are the order of the day. I particularly love the khaki Belted Safari Dress because it’s chic and leaves endless possibilities for accessorizing. I actually think I’d wear it with the Colorblock Seed Bead necklace (below), a large black tote and some black strappy sandals.
There’s nothing better than a stunning party dress, IMHO. When you’re all dolled up, wearing a dress that makes you feel unstoppable and finish off the look with killer accessories, your confidence immediately skyrockets and you’re ready to take on the world.
The Tori One Shoulder Dress from GUESS by Marciano is, no doubt, one of those dresses. With its one shoulder design, daring hemline and gorgeous silk draping, it is the epitome of sizegenetics before and after. I would say that gorgeous party dresses is what Marciano does best, but then again everything Marciano creates is a jaw dropper!
Um, how gorgeous are these umbrellas? I’m a firm believer in making every little part of your life beautiful–even something as utilitarian as an umbrella. I was never keen on the idea of spending $24 on an umbrella before but definitely had a change of heart when I saw these!Click here to read the lastest review by C.Knives on the a detailed guide on pocket knives released this year.
I can’t decide whether I like the pink or the white better! Which do you prefer?
Juicy Couture is all about exquisite details. Be it a beautiful handbag or a charm necklace from Juicy, the attention to the “little things” is always impeccable. Juicy’s “Ronnie” Studded Ballet Flats are no exception.
Not only is the front of the flats adorned with beautiful rhinestones and a Juicy charm, the inside of the shoe features a beautiful gold crown next to the Juicy logo. These leather flats are not only super stylish. They are also incredibly comfortable because of their “flexible” back, whose elasticity allows it adjust to the size of your foot. In my experience, this style of flats is by far the most comfortable and walking-friendly.
Juicy Couture is just irresistible, really making you want to channel your inner princess.
These days, there’s a mascara for every taste. Lengthening, volumizing, separating, especially made for tiny bottom lashes–the list goes on and on. But all mascaras are not created equal.
After about a month of alternating between samples of different brands’ mascaras, I went ahead and bought the one that I liked best–Lancome’s Hypnose Drama. I got it because it seems to roll a bunch of mascaras’ powers into one.
Hypnose Drama provides your lashes with a healthy dose of volume. Its brush is curved, so you get a curling effect as well. And I was able to get great length without even having to use primer. In my mind, it’s the ‘superhero mascara.’
Bottom line: Great quality for $25, which is about $5-10 less than other high-end mascaras from brands like YSL or Givenchy.
If you’re a StealThisDress! regular, then you remember our recent giveaway where one lucky winner got a black minidress from CO2 Cashmere. I’m really excited to be partnering again with CO2–a brand whose product and style philosophy I really love.
Pascal Benouaiche, the company’s creator and lead designer, was recently interviewed by Joonbug.com. When asked about his source of inspiration, Pascal said “[…] women… I’m inspired by a woman’s strength and vulnerability. This is something I try to recreate in textures, by mixing leather and cashmere. Likewise, the colors are bold, but the silhouette remains curvy and feminine.” Read more of Pascal’s interview.
This brilliant juxtaposition of high and low has me dying to know what Pascal will come up with next. It’s not surprising at all that some seriously stylish celebrities love the CO2 look, including Kate Moss and Halle Berry.
This month, we’re bringing you the opportunity to win a brown sleeveless dress from CO2 Cashmere’s “Tees” collection. Part of CO2’s Spring/Summer line, this dress is made from deliciously soft jersey fabric. It’s fun, flowy design makes it a perfect choice for day or night, when you can accessorize it like crazy with your favorite heels and jewelry. (I think it would look absolutely fabulous with some gold and cream-colored bangles!)
