Um, how gorgeous are these umbrellas? I’m a firm believer in making every little part of your life beautiful–even something as utilitarian as an umbrella. I was never keen on the idea of spending $24 on an umbrella before but definitely had a change of heart when I saw these!
I can’t decide whether I like the pink or the white better! Which do you prefer?

T Shirts Coming Up Roses

The current generation of graphic tees are so cool that I’m willing to give this garment, which I have not worn since elementary school, another shot. Celebs appear to be loving floral tees at the moment. The City’s Whitney Port recently donned an adorable rose print t-shirt, while Madonna stayed true to the rock star in her by opting for an Ed Hardy top featuring flowers.
At anywhere between $60 and $150 a pop, tops from brands like Ed Hardy are not always the most accessible. Urban Outfitters comes to the rescue, providing floral t-shirts in all the color palettes you can possibly think of, including ones mimicking Whitney and Madonna’s picks.

For an edgy look, choose a flowery motif on a dark background. Opt for florals printed on a light colored shirt if you want a more girly, delicate look. You can wear t-shirts with pretty much anything, but I suggest pairing these loose, airy styles with snug fitting bottoms such as leggings, fitted shorts or skinny jeans.
Floral Frocks Taking Over Hollywood

All of a sudden, floral print mini dresses are everywhere I look. Every time I open a magazine, I see another celeb sporting one of these cute lil’ flowery creations. Mmmm, all I can think of is summer delights such as ice cream in the park and frolicking in the sun.
Leighton Meester’s halter dress is from Alice + Olivia, priced at $440. Lindsay Lohan’s is from the more affordable UK chain TopShop; my number-crunching showed that this dress costs approximately $66. However, if these prices are out of your budget, head over to Forever21, where you can find similar items for $25 or under.
I use F21 clothes and accessories in many of my posts because there really is no better place to find celebrity and designer-inspired duds on the cheap. At the moment, the beloved retailer appears to be flooded with ultra-feminine mini dresses. There were so many to choose from on the website that I picked out just a couple of examples.
For the gal who doesn’t think she can quite handle the undeniable girliness of these oh-so-lovely frocks, there is no need to worry. Just wear ’em with with edgy accessories such as studded belts, clutches and shoes and voila! You may also consider opting for a more dramatic, “grown-up” color palette that has less yellows and more purples and reds.
